WHY SHOULD I HELP?

Heeley People’s Park is the largest community run park in the country. It's not paid for or managed by the council, but by the people and businesses who live here and love it.

Heeley People’s Park belongs to the community – paid for and owned by local people and businesses since 1996. The good news is that in this time we’ve transformed the space from derelict and abandoned to thriving and loved, part of life for the people of Heeley. The bad news is that unless we continue to dig deep, we lose our park, and all that space, and we don’t know what we’ll get in its place. So Heeley People’s Park needs your help: the more we give, the more we all get – new play equipment, more activities and events, more trees, more to love and play with and relax in. Whatever our park means to you, your help will mean everything to us: it makes the difference between us keeping it and losing it forever.
